Description
The municipal company "BEREK Berliner Anschlag- und Reklamewesen GmbH" was licensed to place advertising pillars from 1922: Mostly plain concrete cylinders with flat cone-shaped sheet metal roof (whole columns).
The offered green tin roof is designed with a plain dome and adjoining cornice, which at the same time forms a rain gutter.
Below it there is a palmette frieze, which is mostly made of zinc sheet. Many revisions and repairs have been made with different materials (steel sheet, putties and coatings with synthetic resins).
The entire roof is corroded in many areas, and in some cases there are missing parts, chipping and/or deformation.
