Description
The fireplace from a villa in the Berlin Grunewald (Wernerstraße) is original in its design from 1905 and was not subsequently electrified. Behind the brass sheet veneer are four lamps in ceramic frames. The interior is formed by corrugated copper sheet, which should produce the effect of a real fire. The fireplace itself is made of wood, black coated. The cornice (High 1,08 m) is formed by a stone slab on which there is a mirror. The protective grid and parts of the ornamentation are made of brass sheet.
The fireplace is in good general condition. Due to age and use, there are numerous minor damages in the coating (abrasion, dirt deposits, spalling) or smaller missing corners on the wood ornamentation.
Particularities
We recommend our chimney expert for approval "Open fireplaces" without glass.
