Description

The green glazed tiles come from the potter Merz from Selb, who was active around 1800.

Pictured is Diana, goddess of the hunt and her hounds. Above, fruit troughs and flowers form the decor as well as the final profiled cornice. The tiles are largely cleaned except for a few exceptions. Some have minor damage and joints. One of the big corner tiles with hunting dogs is partly torn, but still complete.

The tiles are not completely straight according to their age. This results in part within a tile dimensional tolerances of +/- 3mm.
