Description

Aluminum construction of the Landesgartenschau 2006 in Rathenau.

The aluminum water features were arranged on the garden show grounds of the 3rd Brandenburg State Garden Show (LAGA) in Rathenow, today used as the Rathenow Optics Park.
As a reminder of Rathenow's connection to the World Time Clock on Berlin's Alexanderplatz, the jetty was designed in the shape of the solar system on the World Time Clock. The fountains, designed as floating water flowers, danced around the orbit as planets.

Position consisting of:

9 x round pontoons: diameter 1.50 m; height 20 cm

8 x square pontoons: 60 x 60 cm; height 20 cm

8 water fountains, some with detached rings: Height approx. 1.80 m

Some of the elements were improperly separated for dismantling. Some connections are broken (see photos). There are holes in the underside of some of the pontoons.
