Description
The hydrants produced by the Glenfield & Kennedy company in the 19th and early 20th centuries served to provide drinking water in public areas. The lion's head could be a homage to the British Empire.
The top cap of the cast iron hydrant can be unscrewed. Pump, lines or fittings are not included in the offer. The lateral and upper opening is about 3 cm, in the lion mouth about 2 cm.
At the back corner of the greeting plate a corner is broken off.
