The two plaster sculptures were the models for bronze casts, which were part of a well column. This sculpture was erected in 1978 in today's Bleichröderpark (Berlin) (total height 2.32). Today only the well stock, the central concrete pillar, without cats and well bowl and the pigeons on it are on the terrace of the restaurant Olivenbaum in Breite Straße 33, Berlin.
The two cats are made as individual pieces but form a pair, which sits on a round pedestal. The paw of the lighter cat (cat II) is put on.

Round pedestal: diameter approx. 61 cm

Cat I (darker):
height about 38 cm; Width about 67 cm; Depth about 33 cm

Cat II (lighter, with down reaching paw):
height about 47 cm; Width about 75 cm; Depth about 34 cm
