IFA DKW F8 Kombi:
Since the late 1950s, these vehicles have also been sold to private owners by companies and authorities. The station wagons were particularly popular with private craftsmen and tradesmen, and the F8 station wagon with a wooden body proved to be very popular. The F8 Kombi with a wooden body often ran for decades. Vehicles that were actually ready for scrap were rebuilt and given a new body, and when the frame was worn out, a replacement frame was built.
