Description

The rowing boats of the 1950s/60s were built by the "Friedrich Pirsch Bootswerft Berlin-Spandau". Founded in 1920 in Oberschöneweide, the Berlin shipyard was very successful. Rebuilt after political constraints in 1950 in Berlin Spandau, the boats of various classes of the Pirsch shipyard achieved numerous Olympic victories and championships.

The boats for sale here were used by the Berlin "Ruderklub Brandenburgia e. V.". The facilities of the club, which was founded in 1900, were destroyed during the war. A new foundation took place in Berlin-Spandau.

Age and intensive use have taken their toll: The boats are no longer suitable for use in water, but only for decorative purposes. With a height of 40 cm and a width of 80 cm, the boats have different lengths.
