Chalet Français -Green, wall panels around 1880
The imposing room panels were originally used to support a fireplace mask and a fireplace mirror. In addition, the panels are equipped with 2 double-wing doors (cabinet doors) and two double-wing cabinet doors above. They are therefore also ideal as a front panel for a wall cabinet.
The mirror is no longer there, the fireplace mask made of black marble is only fragmentary maintained. Multiple coats of different colours give the wood an authentic character with a unique flair of grown patina. The wood in the corner and edge areas is partially worn and broken. On the right a part of the skirting board is missing.
