Artist: Eduard Ludwig (1906 - 1960)
Date: 2nd half 1950s
Position consisting of two displays/side tables in the classic design of the Mid-Century. Clear simple shapes and colors, functionality and the materials glass and steel determine the design.
Ludwig designed bungalow houses were presented at the Interbau 1957 in Berlin's Hansaviertel. He also designed the interior furnishings. The furniture is included in a sample apartment at the Interbau 1957 in Berlin's Hansaviertel.

Eduard Ludwig also furnished the Berlin-branch of the BRAUN company in Grolmannstraße, where these tables were also used.
There are traces of use, in the form of minor scratches or abrasion on the (white painted) steel elements.

Side table/ Flower table
Table top (wired glass) on round steel arches.
Two triangular feet (steel, painted white), on which a plate of wired glass lies loosely.

Table No.2
Tea table
Feet made of round steel arches with loosely resting crystal glass plate (thickness 9 mm) with ground edges. Undershelf made of plywood coated with Formica. Manufacturer: H.Bauer. Schwäb. Gmünd
W 90 cm x H 47 cm x D 37 cm
For both tables the original plastic glass holders are still preserved.
