Description
Stone basin, in it a fountain with two levels of sandstone.
The fountain from the Berlin district of Reinickendorf is modelled on a fountain designed by Schinkel, which was first located in the Studentenpark (Berlin, today UdK) and now in Berlin-Tegel (see example photo).

Outer diameter stone basin = ca. 400 cm
Inner diameter stone basin = approx. 340 cm
8x segments of sandstone
Circle segment height stone basin = approx. 48 cm
Circle segment depth stone basin = approx. 32 cm
circle segment length = approx. 145 cm
Outer diameter lower fountain bowl = approx. 150 cm
Outer diameter upper fountain bowl = approx. 76 cm
diameter of the fountain stock = approx. 120 cm, tapers upwards to 40 cm
Total height of the fountain = approx. 300 cm
Especially in the two fountain bowls and the corresponding fountain stock there are some cracks. The lower fountain bowl is more severely damaged and was already covered in the past with a copper sheet, which also has holes and/or deformations in some places.
