Description

The counter, backbuffet, stained-glass windows and door elements are from the Berlin artists' bar "Großbeerenkeller". Since 1878, the popular cellar bar was located in the middle of Kreuzberg, not far from the former Schaubühne on Hallescher Ufer and the Hebbeltheatre. So it became an famous artist's meeting place.

The position consists of numerous elements.

Tap (Schachtmeyer): W 73 cm x H 51 cm x D 22 cm

The front panel of the counter is still preserved, the substructure was renewed / replaced during use.

Buffet

The two-part backbuffet consists of a base unit with newer shelves and a shelf section. The back is mirrored, in the middle is a mirror door. Fasteners were partially replaced / replaced during use.

Stained glass windows

The 4 stained glass windows are completely preserved, but very fragile. In one window are cracks / breaks.

With frame made of wood and plaster.

The frame is partly damaged.

Sign

The billboard is made of black backed glass in an iron frame. The frame is corroded, the glass partially broken and has older bonds.

Entrance door outside

The small three-part entrance door to the cellar has a larger break in the middle area and numerous signs of wear.

Various decorative moldings and fragments

Overall, the pub decor is characterized by age and use. In addition to the old patina are also a variety of minor damage exists.
