Artist: Franz Hienl-Merre (born 23.9.1869 in Mainz, died 1943 in Munich)

The German painter, active in Munich and Garmisch-Patenkirchen, exhibited his works in the Munich Glass Palace. Primary motifs of his painting were landscapes and horses.
He was a member of the Luitpold Group and the Reich Association of Visual Artists of Germany.
