Description
Aircraft pulpits of Russian training or reconnaissance aircraft. Probably from the series of Yakovlev Yak-18 aircraft. The exact type is not known.
The corresponding aircraft were used by the Soviet Army in the northern Brandenburg area during GDR times.
Dating: 50s/ 60s
The canopies are made of light metal, on a thin steel frame. The windows are made of plexiglass. Two pulpits still have aprons attached at the front. On these two the metal is more corroded, so that the frames are broken, especially in the rear area.
The Plexiglas panes are already brittle and broken many times.
