Properties of Solnhofen plates
Solnhofer plates are among the hardest limestones in the world, which have a high density. Compared to granites and slates, it is radiation-free and has no exhalations, as they can occur in artificially created stones, so-called artificial stones. The natural stone from Solnhofen is brittle / grinded surface non-slip and non-slip and therefore suitable for the bathroom. Due to its load-bearing capacity, it can be used just like Jura marble for heavily used floors.
